Employment Solicitor at LHS Solicitors

About Me

Having worked in a range of practise areas over the past 11 years (including 5+ PQE), I have successfully assisted on, or conducted complex casework at all stages of the English legal system including the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court, with cases succeeding in the ECJ. I am an experienced Advocate and Instructing Solicitor with a thorough understanding of Public Law, Civil and Appellate Court procedure.

For the past five years I have specialised in employment law, discrimination and civil litigation often with commercial crossover; acting for employers, employees and contractors. I have also provided cover for my Firms Professional Skills seat, summarising and distributing legal information both in-house and to external stakeholders with coverage in the hundreds.

Between 2012-2014, I conducted cases exclusively for employee claimants via the London Discrimination Unit achieving 99% success in disposal and obtaining over £400,000 in damages, breaking even in under one year. I had exclusive conduct of a large caseload which included civil claims for discrimination, claims against public authorities and a full range of employment related matters both contentious and non-contentious.

In my current role as an respondent employment lawyer, my background in immigration, international law and civil litigation have proven to be useful assets, particularly when assisting companies with international staff or overseas interests. I have assisted with a full range of issues from performance, change management and negotiating exit to restructuring and litigation matters for Companies with U.K, European and Middle Eastern interests. I also regularly provide tailored guidance and assistance to HR consultants, in-house HR teams and Executive Board members.

Having acted for both employees and employers I have a clear focus on minimising litigation risk, commercial exposure and operational disruption.
